I had little knowledge about the situation, as he started the process without telling me. My husband has the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s & Dementia, so short-term memory is pretty much gone. I had power of attorney and was able to use it to move forward with the sale. I had the pleasure of working with Penn and Luke. I was in need of selling my mom’s house and not knowing exactly what to do considering the predicament I was in. One day while driving I heard the Barrington Home Buyers advertisement on the radio and at my next stop I wrote the number down. I called and connected with Penn. Penn was extremely helpful in explaining how their process worked. As I provided information, Penn kept in touch with me and updating me regularly, by phone and text. Towards the end of the process Penn sent Luke to meet with me since Penn is located out of my vicinity. Luke was a perfect gentleman and spent time with me and my mom to understand our situation. Although the final outcome was they could not get what I was asking for in selling my mom’s house, Penn didn’t stop trying! We used Barrington Home Buyers for selling our family home, Our experience was way better than expected and in honesty to Barrington our better than expected experience was due to what we experienced for almost 14 months prior to contacting Barrington, we had been looking to sell for 14 months we consulted with a few different realtors, a few different "ibuyers" (those online home buyers I.E. open door etc etc ), and other cash buyers we found either online or other places, for 14 months it was a mess a stress mess I call it, until Barrington. Penn TenEyck was our agent and from start to finish he was awesome, straight forward, honest, and compassionate about our specific situation, Barrington home buyers are wholesalers/ middleman type brokers in a sense, and without going into to much detail of our specific situation I will say that they exceeded my expectations completely, tbh they helped us to be able to do what we needed to do and did so in a way that I can say without a doubt that I don't think any other wholesaler would have done or even wasted the time and effort to do what they did and help us sell our home super fast and for what we needed and making what they did. In my experience wholesalers can sometimes be in it for the quick profits as most wholesalers are not Barrington though, they are by far the most honest and best choice we believe we could have made, again we spent 14 months with multiple other buyers, realtors, etc. and then God sent Barrington Home Buyers and we'll THEY ARE THE BEST IF YOU ASK OUR FAMILY!
